1.  Make questions only using the structure “Have you ever ……..?” as in the example. ( 2075 GIE Q. No. 4)
Example: Have you ever been asked questions in the class?
Structures: passive
# Have you ever + been + v3…..? (स्वोयमआफुलाई)
# Have you ever + had + your obj. + v3……? (आफ्नोबस्तुलाई)
a.  The police shouted at me in the street.
Ans. Have you ever been shouted in the street?
b.  They insulted my friend last week.
Ans. Have you ever had your friend insulted?
Or Has your friend ever been insulted?
c.   I lost my passport last week.
Ans. Have you ever had your passport lost?
d.  I flew in a supersonic jet yesterday.
Ans. Have you ever been flown in a supersonic jet?
e.  Somebody punched me on the nose this morning.
Ans. Have you ever been punched on the nose?

2.  Read the conversation below and write a similar conversation between ‘A’ and ‘B’ ( 2073 Partial W Q. No. 4)
Example: Fine/for a parking offence (speeding)
A: Have you ever been fined for parking offence?
B: No, I haven’t but I have been fined for speeding.

                B. No, I haven’t but I have been thrown out of library.
e.  Mistake/ for a singer? ( T.V. actor/ actress)

Ans:        A: Have you ever been mistaken for a singer?
                B: No, I haven’t but I have been mistaken for a T.V. actor.
3.  Read the example and write similar conversation between ‘A’ and ‘B’. ( 2072 Partial Set A  Q. No. 4)
Example: Annoy/ by friend (stranger)
        A: Have you ever been annoyed by a friend?
        B: No I haven’t, but I have been annoyed by a stranger.

Ans :   A: Have you ever performed on the stage?
            B: No, I haven’t but I have performed in a group.
e.  Help/ the poor? ( handicapped)
Ans :   A: Have you ever helped the poor?
                B: No, I have not but I have helped the handicapped.

4.  Continue the following remarks with a sentence using (not) used to + ing…….. ( 2075 Set B Q. No. 10)
# Sub + is/ am/ are + used to + v4 …………….. ( बानिपरेको थियो)
# Sub + is/ am/ are not + used to + v4 …………( बानिपरेको थियन)

a.  She was quite surprised when I gave her some flowers.

c.   He won’t mind if you stare at him.
Ans : He is used being stared at.
d.  The traffic doesn’t wake him up at night.

Example: Mean people
The meanest person I have ever met was Jack Davies. He used to walk everywhere rather than paying for the bus.

a.  Frightening experience
Ans. The most frightening experience I have ever had was an encounter with tiger. I saw it while driving through the jungle.

Ans. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept was in school hostel. It was too narrow to sleep.
d.  Boring jobs
Ans. The most boring job I have ever had was that of computer typing. I had to type continuously 8 hours a day.
e.  Funny films
Ans. The funniest film I have ever watched was Welcome. It made me laugh until the film was over.
